Maurissa Stone
Assistant Director, Employee Training and Development
Maurissa Stone comes to the University Human Resources-Office of Employee Training & Development with 17 years of organizational development, management consulting and training experience. Prior to her second term here at College Park, she worked as a Partnership & Growth, Management Consultant for NeighborWorks® America, a congressionally sponsored intermediary. In her role she conducted organizational assessments and training to a network of 215 chartered non-profit community development organizations. She provided executive management coaching, board leadership development and created partnerships with financial, government and community stakeholders.
Ms. Stone is also the founder of Iona Circles, an organizational, systems and personal change management process designed to address work life conditions that impact the human spirit and energy. Ms. Stone is an executive board member for the Legacy Council at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture and Poetry for the People Baltimore. She has studied at Lincoln University, University of Maryland, College Park, and the Kogod School of Business at American University and the NeighborWorks® America Training Institute programs of study.

Holly Nalley
Program Management Specialist
Holly Nalley joined the UHR-Office of Employee Training & Development at the University of Maryland in March 2008. As Program Management Specialist, she provides support in coordinating the training calendar, setting up sessions, and marketing the department. Ms. Nalley previously served as a Research Associate at WB&A Market Research in Crofton, Maryland, where she evaluated the success of marketing campaigns. Holly is an alumna of the University of Maryland, College Park. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2006 with a degree in Marketing and Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain Management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
